I had it in mind to create an image of the reeds that I often saw along the waters edge when out walking, but it took several visits and the right lighting to create the image I envisaged. Once I had managed to get the right balance between the two exposures I needed to work on the depth of the colours in post production by adding texture overlays which would harmonise well with the reeds themselves.
"Reedbeds," is a captivating multiple exposure photograph that intertwines the vibrant hues of blue and gold. This artwork presents a striking view f the riverbank adorned with tall reeds, their golden stalks standing in contrast to the tranquil blue and soft textures of the background. The layered imagery evokes a sense of depth and movement, inviting contemplation of nature's delicate balance.

Print Dimensions & Materials
Print dimensions are approximate due to cropping or original image format and refer to the paper size including the white border which is included for framing purposes.
Prints are made by traditional Giclée printing, using Epson 'UltraChrome' pigment based inks that have been tested to give colour prints lasting 100 years plus without fading, and Hannëmuhle Fine Art 100% cotton paper. Should you have a specific choice of paper, please ask and I will do my best to help.
Larger image sizes, bespoke orders, and special materials such as DiBond, aluminium or canvas are available, please ask.
