I spent a long time on this beach waiting for the right set of waves, and experimenting many many times until I achieved the look I was after where all the colours occupied space in the image and the scene was balanced. The technique of Intentional Camera Movement, or ICM, creates the sense of place, the colours and the textures of the scene in a more abstract way.
The blend of blues, white lines of the surf and sandy tones evoke a sense of calm, inviting the viewer to reflect on the beauty of nature, while the smooth transitions between colours creates a soothing atmosphere, perfect for enhancing any space.
This piece is an ideal addition for those seeking a touch of serenity in their environment.
Print Dimensions & Materials
Print dimensions are approximate due to cropping or original image format and refer to the paper size including the white border which is included for framing purposes.
Prints are made by traditional Giclée printing, using Epson 'UltraChrome' pigment based inks that have been tested to give colour prints lasting 100 years plus without fading, and Hannëmuhle Fine Art 100% cotton paper. Should you have a specific choice of paper, please ask and I will do my best to help.
Larger image sizes, bespoke orders, and special materials such as DiBond, aluminium or canvas are available, please ask.
Limited edition prints are signed, certified and numbered by the ArtTrust and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
