“Dunes I & II: The Edge of Remembering”
In my two “Dunes” images—soft grasses undulating across sandy terrain—I create more than landscapes. They’re invitations to pause at the edge of memory. The muted colours and gentle textures evoke a sense of nostalgia, as if the viewer is standing at the border between the present and a half-remembered past. In these scenes, the details blur and deepen, much like the way we recall places that once moved us. The absence of human presence amplifies the solitude, encouraging viewers to reflect on their own quiet moments in nature. Here, the dunes become a metaphor for the shifting boundaries of memory—always changing, always inviting us to step a little further into reverie.
